Hello There!
The moment she joined our consultation call, I could feel her energy. She was frantic, worried and completely discombobulated.
The problem was that her email inbox had gotten so out of control it was paralyzing. She expressed that she didn’t even enjoy sitting at her desk anymore. She was losing her important emails and her clients have been slipping away. And my heart just sank. I wanted to reach through the screen and hug her.
She told me that for the first three years in business, she was laser-focused on growing her business, serving clients and building her reputation. But while she was growing, she was also carrying everything. Client work, emails, scheduling…and now she was exhausted.
Then she laughed and said, “I could really use a Hall Pass.”
We both cracked up. But she was right.
Hall Pass

I get it though, because I’m right there too. I know the effort it takes to keep a business steady year after year. It’s no small thing and we all deserve credit for how far we’ve come because it’s not for everyone.
The irony of it all is that we’ve earned the right to step back, but we rarely give ourselves permission.
If you’ve been carrying the weight of “doing it all”, sometimes the bravest thing we can do as solo professionals, is hand off a piece of the load.
I love being the Hall Pass.
That’s why I see my role as more than just handling tasks. I see it as giving my clients a Pass to step out of the daily grind, even for a moment, so they can focus on simply having space to think again.
And I want that for you, too. And for myself as well.
Sometimes it’s me. Sometimes it’s using another system or support, but the point is that your growth really does depends on giving yourself permission to stop being everywhere at once.

The Bottom Line
After three or more years in business, you’ve already proven you can carry it all. But that doesn’t mean you should. When you keep trying to “do it all”, you start to lose the joy of running your business. I’ve seen it time and time again.
Remember that a Hall Pass isn’t about escaping responsibility. It’s about freeing yourself up so your business can grow without draining you.
So the question isn’t if you need support. It’s what’s the first thing you’d step away from if you had your Hall Pass?
Chuckle of the day! 😂
What do you call corn that joins the army?
– Kernel!
