1. Who is a Virtual Assistant?
A virtual assistant (VA) is someone who offers administrative technical or creative support to entrepreneurs and small business owners from a distance. They rely on technology to communicate and complete tasks effectively, all while working from a remote location instead of the client’s office. I currently work from my home office in Fond du Lac, WI.
2. What is a discovery call?
A discovery call is a free 30 minute conversation conducted through Zoom, Google Meet or even over the phone, where I get to speak with someone who is interested in my services, as well as find out if we would be a good fit. Click here to get on my calendar.
3. How do I hire a virtual assistant?
Clients prepay for my time in hourly chunks of 1, 5, or 10 hours. See my packages here. You purchase the quantity of hours up front and use it at whatever pace you need for whatever services. Your chunk of hours is good for a year.
4. How do you keep track of time?
I use a time tracking software. Every Monday, my clients receive an email update on how much time they have left on their virtual debit card.
5. What are the benefits of hiring a virtual assistant?
There are so many advantages to working with a virtual assistant, one of the main ones being enhanced productivity. Clients are able to adjust their workload and assign repetitive tasks, so that they can focus on core operations that will help them to grow and scale their business. It also eliminates the need for hiring a full-time employee and creating office space. I just work when my clients need me to.
6. What about different time zones?
Virtual assistants have the flexibility to work across different time zones, enabling round-the-clock coverage and accommodating clients from various regions. There is this awesome scheduling tool that I like called Calendly, that helps to seamlessly coordinate time zone differences and keep everyone scheduled on the right time.
7. How do you communicate with your clients?
I communicate with clients primarily through email, phone calls and video conferencing tools such as Zoom or Google Meet.
8. How do you ensure data security?
Data security is important to me. In the event that passwords need to be shared, I use a password manager program called Bitwarden, which allows us to securely transfer passwords without compromise.
9. What services do you provide?
I specialize in a number of services including email management, newsletters, social media management and scheduling, website updates and data entry. Click here to view my full list of services. If there is something that you need and do not see, I’m happy to talk to you about it.
