I know when you hear the word premeditated, your mind might jump to something sinister…maybe even a crime scene.
Well, fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on your interests), today’s newsletter isn’t going in that direction.
But if that’s what you were hoping for, I highly recommend tuning into ID or A&E for some solid true-crime documentaries. No judgment! I watch them too. Maybe that’s why premeditated lives rent-free in my head.

So, imagine my reaction when a business coach told me, “You need to run your business like a mastermind criminal.”
Say what?! (as I laughed nervously)
In my head I was trying to make it make sense.
But the more I thought about it, the more it clicked.
Premeditate every move!
When I think about the successful business owners I know, they always have a steady stream of work, seem to attract clients effortlessly and always have something valuable to offer.
Is that just by happenstance?
Nope!
It’s not luck either. It was all premeditated.
They set the stage for success long before it happens.
When I “wing” things and don’t plan ahead (like going to the grocery store hungry and without a list). I always end up scrambling.
And that’s a big problem!
Though occasionally I still go into things “winging it”, because life happens sometimes, it’s less likely to happen because now I know better.
I know that:
- I don’t want to end up working with the wrong clients.
- I don’t want to be inconsistent.
- I don’t want to waste time on things that do not serve me.
Purchase my Premeditated Success Plan Right Here
The Bottom Line:
Success isn’t an accident. It’s premeditated.
This is what I’ve learned to do:
Plan the “crime” – In other words, I have a strategy. It’s a step-by-step process of how I’m going to achieve something.
Gather my “evidence” – I create valuable content which helps me to establish myself as the expert.
Have an “alibi” – I position myself so that clients seek me out instead of the other way around.
Execute – This is where you want to deliver results so good they speak for themselves.
A Better Plan for Solo Professionals
I’ve created a 2025 Content Calendar tailored specifically for solo professionals like you. Those who don’t have the hours to spend figuring out what to post, but still want to show up online in a meaningful way.
What’s Inside?
- 3 weekly post ideas to keep your content consistent and engaging.
- A mix of educational, promotional, and fun prompts to help you connect with your audience.
- Monthly themes to keep you organized and aligned with your goals.
With this calendar, you’ll stop rolling the dice and guessing what works. Stop leaving your success up to chance. When we know better, we do better.
Chuckle of the day! 😂
“Even my naps are premeditated. Alarm set, blanket ready, dream goals in place.”
